Hanoi - Halong

DAY 1 : Hanoi - Arrival (-/-/D)
Meet on arrival at Hanoi / Noi Bai International Airport,
transfer to hotel for check in. Rest of day at leisure. In the evening you will
attend the performance of the famous Vietnamese traditional art of water puppetry
at Thang Long Theatre. Overnight in Hanoi.
DAY 2 : Hanoi - Halong (B/L/D)
Half -day Hanoi city tour: visit Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum
(closed on Monday, Friday and the whole months of October-November) and His Residence,
One-Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature, built in the 11th century as Vietnam’s
first university. Lunch at local restaurant. Drive to Halong Bay (165 km east of
Hanoi), listed as a World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty. “Dragon descending
to the sea” as it is known in Vietnamese. Diner and overnight in Halong.
DAY
3 : Halong bay - Hanoi ( B/L/D )
After breakfast, transfer to Ha Long harbor. You will
board a traditional wooden boat, where a fresh seafood lunch will be served as you
begin your cruise (4hrs). Spend the morning sailing through the 3,000 limestone
pinnacles piercing the emerald waters of the Gulf of Tonkin. See for yourself why
Ha Long Bay is one of the premier tourist destinations in Southeast Asia. Visit
Thien Cung grotto before return back to harbor and the car will transfer you to
Hanoi. Drive back to Hanoi. The rest time is free at leisure. Overnight in Hanoi.
DAY 4 : Hanoi - Departure (B/-/-)
Time at leisure until transfer to Hanoi / Noi Bai International
Airport for your onward flight.
