Day 1 VIENTIANE – arrival (L)

Meet upon arrival, transfer and check-in at your hotel. Lunch in the local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit Vat Sisaket, the only original temple in Vientiane (built in 1818, it is the sole survivor of a Thai invasion in 1828), the Ho Phrakeo, the former Royal Chapel where was enshrined an Emerald Buddha at the early time of the Lane Xang Kingdom, the Patouxai and That Luang stupa and home to the National Museum. Overnight in Vientiane.

Day 2 VIENTIANE / LUANG PRABANG (B/L)

VTE – LPQ 11.50 – 12.30 QV 101: After breakfast, transfer to the airport to take your flight to Luang Prabang. Meet upon arrival at the airport, transfer and check-in at your hotel. In the afternoon, visit Vat Mai temple, which was the residence of a Buddhist patriarch before 1975 and Vat Visoun temple with its Singhalese-style stupa, That Makmo, and Vat Aham, one of the city’s major tutelary shrines housing the puppets of Lao ancestors before climbing Phousi Hill to enjoy a panoramic view over the former Royal capital and the Mekong River. Lunch in the local restaurant. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 3 LUANG PRABANG / PAK OU / LUANG PRABANG (B/L)

After breakfast, visit Vat Xieng Thong, considered as the most beautiful temple of Luang Prabang with roofs that sweep low to the ground. Then take a traditional riverboat for a 2-hour cruise upstream the Mekong River towards Pak Ou, at the confluence of the Nam Ou and Mekong Rivers, to visit the sacred caves of Tham Ting and Tham Phum, home to hundreds of Buddha statues. On the way, stop at Ban Xang Hai village where sticky rice wine distillation can be seen. Return to Luang Prabang and continue by car to visit the weaving village of Ban Xang Khong where traditional Sa paper is also produced. Lunch in the local restaurant. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 4 LUANG PRABANG - départ (B/L)

LPQ – REP 12.10 – 14.15 FT 634 (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday) In the early morning (wake up in the morning to 05:30 in order to be in the center city 'And attend a unique spectacle ... hundreds of monks in religious order, parade around town' to receive food from the population). Breakfast. In the morning, visit the National Museum (former King’s Palace) displaying a collection of personal artifacts of the Royal Family and the market. Lunch in the local restaurant. Time at leisure until your transfer to the airport to take your flight to Siem Riep.
